Considering that one in three Americans is at risk for kidney disease — and there are no early symptoms of the disease — it is important to learn the risk factors associated with it and healthy habits that prevent it.
Tour – Today, the RedSky Board of Directors toured Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) El Paso. Red Sky is an El Paso based business incubator that helps health care startups succeed, and it is backed by the Medical School of the Americas Foundation. The tour provided its board with a better understanding of the breadth of our objectives as a health sciences center and our role in creating positive growth throughout the region.
Mighty Mujer Triathlon – It’s time for another Mighty Mujer Shout Out! TTUHSC El Paso Audit Director Amy Sanchez made staying fit a priority six months after her youngest child was born. Signing up for events, such as the Mighty Mujer Triathlon, motivate her to fit exercise into her schedule.
