Walkin’ the Talk – Next Month’s Walkin’ the Talk lecture is Wednesday, Feb. 4, from noon – 1 p.m., in the Medical Education Building (MEB), room 1110. The “Beginner Briefing” lecture is geared toward individuals interested in training for a triathlon, such as the Mighty Mujer’s Triathlon, where faculty and staff will be manning the Texas Tech Physicians Athlete Expo. Since a triathlon consists of running, biking and swimming, it’s an opportunity to learn proper techniques in any of those areas. Race El Paso Director Gabriela Gallegos will present tips and tricks to stay in the game. This is a chance to kickstart your New Year’s goal of getting fit. Make sure to mark your calendars!
