The Future of Health Care: 101 Graduates Earn Degrees from the Foster School of Medicine
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso celebrated the graduation of its latest class of physicians on Friday, May 17, when 101 students from the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine earned their Doctor of Medicine degrees and received their doctoral hoods.
One member of the graduating class of 2019 is Brandy Mills, who has wanted to become a physician since she was young.
“It’s definitely been difficult. The balance between schoolwork and life has been hard the past four years, but it’s worth it,” Mills said. Next for Mills is a move to Denver for a dermatology residency at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine.
