Lupe Rodriguez has been promoted to Service Line Administrator for Strategic Relationships for the Transmountain Campus.
In this new role, Rodriguez will oversee special projects for The Hospital of Providence (THOP) Campuses and will assist in the successful implementation of the Graduate Medical Education Program at the Transmountain Campus, in coordination with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso.
Additionally, Rodriguez will continue to oversee THOP/Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center Cath Lab initiative. She joined Sierra and Memorial Campus teams in September 2014 as the Cardiology Service Line Administrator. During that time, Rodriguez was instrumental in evaluating and enacting improvements to the cardiology programs. In an effort to redeploy electrophysiology (EP) services, Rodriguez actively engaged key physicians, which resulted in the approval of a $1.4 million expansion project for the Sierra Campus. Rodriguez was also successful in the implementation of a Cath Lab Joint Venture at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, N.M.
Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Science in health science from the University of Texas El Paso and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
