TTUHSC El Paso Honors Community Physicians

The TTUHSC El Paso Office for Outreach and Community Engagement recently presented the Community Faculty Appreciation Dinner and Conference at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

The event on April 25 was attended by over 40 community physicians. Attendees listened to a presentation on the educational impact of community faculty, and students presented the “Students’ Choice Awards” to show their appreciation of the community physicians’ dedicated service to Paul L. Foster School of Medicine students and the university.

Benjamin Clapp, M.D., clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, received the Community Faculty of the Year Award.
