The Hub of Human Innovation incubator, in partnership with the West Texas Regional Center for Innovation Commercialization (RCIC) housed within the Texas Tech University Office of Technology Commercialization, is proud to announce the commencement of the Shift entrepreneurial program. This unique program is designed to develop the necessary skills to transfer high tech ideas into high grossing businesses.
The program kicks off with a tech expo on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 4 p.m. in the El Paso Times Community Room. Texas universities and national federal laboratories will be in attendance presenting current licensable technologies and describing their unique advantages.
Following this event, participants will have the opportunity to enroll in the Shift entrepreneurial program. The program guides entrepreneurs in initiating new tech ventures through mentorship and proven start–up models. Upon graduation from the program, graduates will have the skills and opportunity to take their newly developed business into the market.
The 15-week course begins on Saturday, September 20. To RSVP, please email Marla.Barbour@ttu.edu.
