Abstract Accepted for Publication at ASCO Quality Care Symposium

The abstract “The effectiveness of the shared medical visit among patients with a gynecological malignancy undergoing chemotherapy along the Texas-Mexico border” authored by Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso OB-GYN Faculty Kayla Castaneda, RN, MSN, WHNP-BC, AOCNP; Loretta L. Hernandez, MPH, MT (ASCP); Zuber Mulla, Ph.D., CPH; Harvey Greenberg, M.D., and Salvador Saldivar, M.D., MPH, was recently accepted for publication at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Quality Care Symposium.  The symposium will be held from October 17 – 18 in Boston, Massachusetts.

ASCO was founded in 1964 by a small group of physician members of the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) who recognized the need to create a separate society dedicated to issues unique to clinical oncology.
