City Proclaims 2019 as the Foster School of Medicine’s 10th Anniversary Year

During the regular El Paso City Council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 20, Mayor Dee Margo proclaimed 2019 as the TTUHSC El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine’s 10th Anniversary year. In 2009, the school welcomed its inaugural class of 40 students.

To celebrate the start of a new school year and kick off the celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the school of medicine, TTUHSC El Paso staff, students and faculty are invited to a Welcome Back Lunch at noon Wednesday, Aug. 28, on the Medical Education Building lawn.

The first 400 faculty and staff will receive a commemorative 10-year anniversary T-shirt. Students will receive a school spirit shirt. To receive a T-shirt, you must show your university I.D. badge.
