The 10th Annual Service Learning Symposium, held Feb. 11 in the Medical Education Building, featured 10 oral presentations and 16 posters showcasing a wide range of student service activities. Activities included projects students have initiated and service activities hosted by community organizations.
The symposium, presented by the Department of Medical Education’s Society, Community and the Individual (SCI) course, gives students a valuable opportunity to reflect on learning through service in the community.
