The Office of Diversity Affairs administered the Diversity Engagement survey in August 2014. The purpose of this survey was to assess institutional diversity climate and culture. Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) El Paso Jose Manuel de la Rosa will oversee the accreditationde la Rosa invited faculty, residents, students, and staff institution-wide to participate. “We had a response rate of 20% with 453 respondents. Overall, the findings from the Diversity Engagement Survey demonstrate that our campus constituents are satisfied with the diversity and inclusion efforts, as well as the climate,” said Jessica Calderón-Mora, senior director for the Office of Diversity Affairs. “Earlier this month, we also launched our Annual Diversity Survey and will be incorporating items from the Diversity Engagement Survey in years to come.”
