Excellence. It’s in our DNA.
“The university’s philosophy is that no matter the task or assignment, everything should be carried out with excellence,” said Associate Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement Victoria Pineda. “It’s also a thought TTUHSC El Paso President Richard Lange often vocalizes.”
Since becoming an autonomous university in 2013, the number of programs offered and total enrollment at TTUHSC El Paso have increased every year. Pineda said it was only natural to make the public aware of the institution’s success. While excellence applies to the entire institution and the Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso clinics, there are specific attributes and accomplishments that enrich the campaign, which modifies the slogan for each school and clinic.
“Success. It’s in our DNA.” The Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing has been successful in increasing enrollment from 103 students in 2013 to 137 students in 2015. It also has the first and only dual enrollment nursing program in the Paso del Norte region.
“Research. It’s in our DNA.” The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences now offers a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and in January officially became the third school of the TTUHSC El Paso campus.
“Philanthropy. It’s in our DNA.” Participating in this campaign sends a powerful message to the community that our employees not only work here, but also truly believe in our mission to serve all people through exemplary patient care, education and research.
At TTUHSC El Paso, you’ll find students, faculty and staff who exemplify the principles of excellence, success, research and philanthropy. Other than molecules and nucleotides, what’s in your DNA?
