Why are you interested in biomedical research?
I love learning about all aspects related to human health.

Where do you see yourself five years after graduation?
I would be really interested in continuing onto a Ph.D./M.D. dual degree program.

Favorite thing to do in El Paso:
Go mountain biking at the Palisades/Arroyo Park.

What do you do in your downtime?
Mountain bike, hike, or cruise on my skateboard.

Three words that describe you:
Traveler, adventurous, and spontaneous.

Something about you that not many people may know:
When I worked at the El Paso City Hall I had my whole cubicle decorated in pink.

What made you decide that medicine is the career for you?
When I was a kid, I went on a house call with my father who is a physician. I was hooked right away by the relationship he had built with his patient.

Where do you see yourself five years after completing your residency program?
Practicing in a hospital, hopefully in an academic center where I can pass down the knowledge and art of medicine to future physicians.

Favorite thing to do in El Paso:
Playing tennis or ultimate Frisbee with friends with the Franklin Mountains in the backdrop.

What do you do in your downtime?
Play the piano, especially movie soundtracks.

Three words that describe you:
Compassionate, hard-working, humble.

I have a YouTube channel: citruspounch with 600+ subscribers.
