TTUHSC at El Paso Joins the #GivingTuesday Movement

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC EP) exists 100% because a group of dedicated El Pasoans decided to take an active role in improving healthcare across this region. We have a day for giving thanks and two days for getting deals known as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for a shared goal: to celebrate generosity by giving.

We invite you to harness that power of community that got this institution built and give back to TTUHSC EP on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Give what you can at http://bit.ly/1xlZvD4 and know that your contribution, no matter how big or small, will have a lasting impact on the healthcare providers we are creating at your health sciences center.

“TTUHSC at El Paso has joined the #GivingTuesday movement to harness the collective power of a unique blend of community partners—friends, families, businesses and individuals—to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season,” said Assistant Vice Chancellor, Institutional Advancement at TTUHSC EP Victoria Pineda.

For those who wish to participate in #GivingTuesday, we ask that you take a moment on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 to donate online at http://bit.ly/1xlZvD4 and share your love for TTUHSC EP on your personal social media sites by letting friends and family know how you gave back on #GivingTuesday
